Sortimo is expanding its EcoSystem: Power tool manufacturer FEIN becomes a new L-Boxx partner

Sortimo and the L-Boxx form an unparalleled success story when it comes to modern mobility systems. With millions of products sold, this market darling is happy to welcome C. & E. FEIN GmbH, another strong cooperation partner, to the steadily growing L-Boxx family. This patented case system for tool and kit cases was specially developed to meet the requirements of professional tradespeople and as a packaging solution for industry. Thanks to its sturdy design, the L-BOXX (made from impact- and shock-resistant ABS plastic) can withstand even extreme loads. That's why it is well equipped for everyday use on site.

Sortimo provides its customers with an end-to-end EcoSystem with its BOXX and case systems. This EcoSystem can be used to transport Sortimo products, but also to integrate a large number of other brand-name products used by tradespeople and service technicians on a daily basis. Together with Bosch through its BS Systems joint venture, the traditional Bavarian company is thus following an integrated product and service-based approach. This gives tool, equipment and consumables manufacturers the opportunity to use Sortimo BOXXes and cases as outer packaging for their own materials. 

Added value for customers thanks to L-BOXX system integration
C. & E. FEIN GmbH has decided to incorporate the sales-promoting impact effect of system-based products that increase customer loyalty and influence customers' purchasing behaviour into its strategic approach. Following the announcement of the Bosch collaboration on the Professional 18 V rechargeable battery platform, FEIN is now also pursuing a system-based concept that offers added value to end users through its packaging. It is becoming a member of the L-BOXX family. According to the manufacturer, the overriding goal is to make the everyday working life of professional tradespeople easier, and help to ensure quicker and more efficient working. 
"FEIN represents a strong partner for the L-BOXX system, enabling us to move forward together with over 300 existing partners in achieving a market standard for trade mobility solutions," explains Fatih Yilmaz, Managing Director of BS Systems GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture between Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH and Sortimo International GmbH, headquartered in Zusmarshausen. FEIN brought the first oscillating power tool to the market as early as 1967. This multifunctional tool, known as the MULTIMASTER, is still currently one of the top choices of professional tradesmen and women from all industries all over the world. This is why it was only logical to start the conversion to a new transport & storage system with this range.
"These cases can be easily clicked into place and fit perfectly into Sortimo's market-leading van racking systems without the need for additional load securing measures. This makes transport particularly quick and easy.
