With the SR5 Reduced to Max, Sortimo is setting new standards in vehicle equipment. The shelving system is based on a patented hybrid construction method, in which lightweight aluminium construction is combined with coated steel components that are only used at heavily loaded points such as side panels or shelves. This technology enables a weight reduction of up to 25%, depending on the configuration, without compromising the proven crash safety.
The SR5 Reduced to Max scores in two ways: on the one hand, the reduced weight enables a higher payload, which is particularly advantageous for electrified vehicles, which are heavier anyway due to their batteries.
